Prof. Dr. Bozena Gajdzik is a Professor at the Faculty of Materials Engineering, Department of Industrial Informatics, Silesian University of Technology. A graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice, she earned a Ph.D. in economics from the Faculty of Management at that university in 2000. Since 2002, she has been associated with the Silesian University of Technology, first as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering and then as an associate professor at the Department of Industrial Computer Science. She collaborates with business practices, particularly within the steel industry, including collaboration as an expert. She has experience in the restructuring of steel enterprises and has been used as expert knowledge. She is an expert in the program for sustainable development and research projects on industrial transformation. She published more than 650 publications, including 32 books. Her name is on the list of Top 2 World Scientists (Stanford list and Elsevier). She is a reviewer of scientific publications for recognized publishers.
